01No tracking cookies#

nobuybox.monryte.com does not use advertising, analytics or social-media cookies, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or third-party trackers. Our pages do not set cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is described below for shared Wishlists. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so visiting the site does not contact Google or other third parties.

02Strictly necessary technology#

Our web host may use strictly necessary security measures (for example to block attacks or abusive traffic), which can involve a short-lived technical cookie. Such cookies are needed to provide the service you request and do not require consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and Article 4(5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004. They are not used to track you.

The Buddy pages (links that start with /b/ or /r/) contact our database in the EU only to show and record your answer to the invite or request in the link; they do not use cookies either.

Shared Wishlist pages (links that start with /w/ or /p/) keep a random claim token in your browser’s local storage when you claim a gift, so you can see and undo your own claims without an account. It is not a cookie, contains nothing about you, is sent to our database only together with your claims, and disappears when you clear your browser’s site data. It is strictly necessary for the claim you ask for, so no consent is needed.

03In the app#

The NoBuyBox app doesn’t use cookies. It stores your boxes and settings on your phone so it can work, and uses a random install ID for anonymous usage events and crash reports, which you can switch off in Me → Terms & Privacy. See the Privacy Policy.
